Ms. Brune has repeatedly warded off indictment and regulatory charges through sound strategic choices, meticulous preparation and forceful advocacy. When cases are brought, she is equally effective. A seasoned trial lawyer, she obtained the acquittal of a Bear Stearns hedge fund manager in a federal jury trial.

Before founding Brune & Richard, Ms. Brune served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Southern District of New York from 1990-1997. Ms. Brune is a member of the Board of Directors of the McCarton Foundation, the Board of Trustees of the McCarton School, and the Board of Trustees of the Criminal Justice Foundation.
